Adelaide, South Australia
ICAM, an alternative real asset funds management business led by Managing Director Freddy Bartlett, has announced a notable charitable partnership with Encounter Youth. In a move that underscores ICAM’s commitment to social responsibility, the company has donated $10,000 to the youth organization, marking it as the single largest donation Encounter Youth has received to date.
Encounter Youth is a South Australian health promotion charity dedicated to supporting young people to positively impact society. They train and mobilise over 450 Green Team volunteers to serve in local communities facing serious social challenges. Encounter Youth’s evidence-based programs include their Alcohol & Other Drug Education Program in schools, late-night safety program on Hindley Street and 2023 also marks their 25th Schoolies Festival™ to be held at Victor Harbor. Through these programs, they provide essential educational resources and create safer environments for young people across the region.
ICAM’s donation will directly support these initiatives, enabling Encounter Youth to continue its vital work. “ICAM is passionate about helping young people in South Australia, and we’re proud to support Encounter Youth’s invaluable contributions to our community,” said Bartlett.
Expressing gratitude for the donation, Nigel Knowles, the CEO of Encounter Youth, said, “We’re really grateful for Freddy’s support. We couldn’t make a positive difference in young people’s lives without our supporters.”
With this partnership, ICAM illustrates its commitment to meaningful engagement within its community, going beyond its financial operations to make a tangible difference in the lives of South Australia’s young people.
